How often should my dog be groomed?
The ideal grooming schedule depends on your dog's breed, coat type, lifestyle, and the amount of maintenance you perform at home. In general, we recommend professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks to help maintain a clean, healthy coat and prevent matting or skin issues.
How long will my dog be at the salon?
Our average grooming appointment takes approximately four hours. However, grooming times may vary based on your pet's size, coat condition, temperament, and the specific services requested. During busy seasons and holidays, turnaround times may be slightly longer.
How much does grooming cost?
This also depends on each individual dog. Several factors go into determining the price of a groom such as the pet's condition of coat, length of coat, style of groom you would like, temperament of dog, and the time it takes to groom the pet.
What vaccines do you require?
For the health and safety of all pets in our care, we require dogs to be current on their rabies vaccination. If your pet is medically unable to receive the vaccine, we can accept documentation from your veterinarian stating the exemption.
Are your groomers professionally certified?
Yes. Lucky Dog Boutique and Spa is an AKC Safety Salon Certified facility. We are also members of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, and our team is Pet CPR Certified.
